God is Love
Ephesians 1:16 – Ephesians 2:1
I cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, Which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenlies …
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come … and hath put all tings under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.
And you hath He quickened (made alive) who were dead in trespasses in sins ….
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in hearts by faith; that you being rooted and grounded in LOVE, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth and height; And to know the LOVE of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with the fullness of God. Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen
I am praying for you today. I am praying that you will take these two groups of scripture and pray them daily. When you pray them, personalize them. It is important that you pray them over yourself. I will pray them over you, but it is important that you call into your own life all that these prayers proclaim and declare. Simply put, you pray each line replacing you with me. You need to ask for and receive each of these scriptures for yourself. It may seem strange at first, but as you pray these prayers daily you will soon learn the wisdom of this instruction.
Let me be precise in this instruction. As you put these groups of scriptures in front of your eyes begin to pray out loud -“I cease not to give thanks for me, making mention of me in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father of glory, may give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. The eyes of my understanding being enlightened, that I may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding power to me-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which HE wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenlies, far above all principality, and power, and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also that which is to come. And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is HIs body, the fulness of Him, that fills all in all.”
As you pray these things understand what your doing, primarily. You are asking to be strengthened, enlightened and given authority. You are aligning with your inheritance. You are aligning with what you have been given —
Always remember — “Ask and it shall be given you.” Don’t ask and what happens? You will not receive. “Knock and the door shall be opened unto you.” Don’t knock and the door will not be opened. “Seek and you shall find.” Don’t seek and you will not find. So, as you pray this, the first of the Ephesian prayers be conscious of what you are asking for, what doors you would like to see opened and what you are hoping to find.
⁃ Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
⁃ That they eyes of my understanding be enlightened — so that I will know what my calling is — the one that He has called me to ..
⁃ That I will have working knowledge of what has been given me in the inheritance available to all true believers
⁃ What is the power that has been given to me through faith and that I qualify for as a believer
⁃ What is the authority that He has given me by joining to Jesus Christ and receiving Christ, the anointed one and His anointing, the incarnation which is “Christ in me the hope of glory” and the glory being the manifestation of His redemptive and resurrecting power in my life and in the lives of all that we encounter.
