Be not conformed to this world
Renew your mind
Prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
In all your getting – get wisdom … Acknowledge Him in all your ways and lean not on your own understanding. Seek Him First in all His righteousness … and all these things shall be added unto you.
What things? — clothes/raiment, housing, protection, favor, income, food/sustenance. He knows we need these things.
He is the Resurrection and the Life.
He is the substitutionary sacrifice/the Lamb slain …
He has been made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believes in Him is not condemned: but he that believes not on Him is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.
For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, unless his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Consider this. YHWH has chosen us to walk in the light. He has chosen us to be children, ambassadors, soldiers, and sent ones – of and for the light. A spark was placed in us before we were in our mother’s wombs to choose to know YHWH – who is His name? – and Yahshua – what is His Son’s name? We know Him. He is known to us and we have more than a distant knowledge. He lives in us and we – through the renewing of the mind pursue greater revelation in that knowledge … the knowledge of Him.
Being immersed (baptized in the name — YHWH Yahshua) makes available to us all that He is and all that He has made available to us, through His word … through His presence … by the Spirit … as we press to know the word, practice His presence, walk in the Spirit and seek the resurrection/transformation/redemption/promotion/re-creation that has been made available to us through salvation (Yahshua) Himself.
In the new birth so much has been given to us and it is for us to ask ourselves. What is our reasonable service? Meditating the Substitutionary Sacrifice begs the question – what is it that we are to sacrifice? There is no way to repay God, and He asks for no repayment … but we are instructed to give thanks in every way that we can think of and to this … I say.
Present yourselves a living sacrifice unto God which is your reasonable service. Then ask yourself … How? What is my daily regimen? I ask for His daily bread. I ask for his daily forgiveness. I ask him to keep me from daily evil. Are we open to be asked to serve? Are we open to being asked to praise, pray, give, forgive, fast … are we?
In His service and yours,
