We are free

We are free

We are free …

My Brothers we have been called unto liberty … but don’t use that liberty to turn to the flesh … use that liberty to serve one another by love.

All instruction is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

So, how do you stay away from the flesh? What is the flesh? You avoid the flesh by walking in the Spirit and you identify the flesh because it causes you to bite and devour one another with your words and your actions. The flesh demeans, diminishes, discourages, disparages and denies. The flesh covets another person’s success and is displeased when someone else succeeds. The flesh is decaying and dying. The flesh always feels under attack.

The Spirit is life, yea the Spirit is best understood when we consider Liberty, Life, Light and Love. Liberty has been given to us so that we love one another. Liberty is achieved through the Spirit – pursuing Light, Life and Love.

On this July 4th, I meditate this …

Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the CROWN of life, which YHWH יהוה hath promised to those that love Him.

Every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust (flesh) and enticed.

But be of good cheer. Let not your heart be troubled. Fear not. Peace. Be still.

Make no mistake my beloved brethren.

EVERY good and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom is no variable ness or shadow of turning. Of His own will begat us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Be swift to hear, slow to speak and extremely slow to wrath for wrath is of the flesh.

Look into the perfect law of liberty. Look up to the Father of lights. Ask for wisdom. Ask for the kind of love that cannot be found on earth and declare your liberty – your victory. Become a doer of the love work. Make it your life’s work to love people to freedom. Love people to liberty. Love people to the Spirit.

How do we do this? It begins simply by asking for help.

When you look up and ask the Lord for help — you are looking up. You are acknowledging His Lordship. Scripture teaches us that we have not because we ask not and it teaches that we have not because we ask incorrectly.

1. Lord I need your help.
2. I ask for wisdom …
3. I ask for a love that will bless my neighbors – truly set them free.
4. I ask for the ability to see to the betterment of others.

This is the personal work. This work is best performed in unison with others on this journey. We need each other.

I look forward to seeing some of you in church tomorrow or to spend time with you through the online services we offer.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin and death.

We are not condemned by that which goes into our mouths but by that which comes out of our mouths.

I ask you to “Go into all the world … bring words of life … You have come to give life and that more abundantly. You didn’t go to condemn the world but to reconcile the world back to the Father.”

Always remember that you are called to the world but you are not of the world. You are born from above. Do not be entangled with the covetousness and the bickering. Speak words of life and you will be free and if people insist on biting and devouring you … move your feet. You will find neighbors.
